Attend the event on-site, virtually or just donate to support us.
Walk for the Wild (WFTW) is a national event to get people
moving 5K (3.1 miles) in support of their local national wildlife refuge.
You can cover the 5K distance moving at the event, home, fitness center, park or anywhere. Also, it’s up to you how you move —walking, jogging, hiking, paddling, strolling, or whatever you choose—either manually, or using your favorite fitness tracker. If you are unable to move the distance, just donate and comment on our WFTW site.
Please register at our WFTW site to join Team FOTRR! You can support Team FOTRR with your registration, comments, participation, and consider making an optional donation. Our goal is to raise $1000 and receive 100 comments to support our local programs on the Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge!
Funds raised from this event will directly support wildlife conservation, nature trails, and environmental education in our community. A portion of your donation will be matched by national supporters of Walk for the Wild and the Public Lands Alliance.
Please register, leave a comment and optional donation to support Team FOTRR and the critical conservation / educational work of the Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge.
